Celebrating My Youth
Oct 21 st, 2022- Nov 20th, 2022
Manhattan - Jersey City
Mind you, this is my first attempt since Tumblr 2015 to properly compile my thoughts & memories into a little space on a screen. I was recently inspired by Q2Hans Blog, their content is very inspiring to me due to the calming nature & minimalist tones they use in their vlogs! Let’s Go!
Goodbye Louis!
Oct 21st we said Goodbye to Louis!
He’s moved from the Big Gay Apple to the more down-to-earth streets of suburban North Carolina.
I’d planned an evening out in K-town filled with KBBQ/Karaoke!
What I didn’t plan was balling like a baby when it was time to see Louis off!
Louis has been a good friend since my senior year of High school, and although I never imagined he’d move states away, I know he will make his mark wherever life takes him.
I will miss his company very much <3
A Night out in KTown- RSVP at Jongro Bbq
Soondubu (Kimchi Tofu-stew), Seoul Night Soju, So much MEAT!
Honestly one of the best eating experiences on W 32nd st, usually I bring my friends to MISS KOREA however this location was convenient since our Karaoke room was in the same building. This was my first time eating bbq with such a large group, thankfully we sat for over an hour. Giving us ample time to consume everything brought to the table, my one regret is not ordering more veggies due to my assumption that the banchan’s would be larger.
I know most folks love a good Jinro Soju BUT
this Seoul Night Soju was out of this world!
Nov 20th- Chelsea to Bryant Park
Aiden & I met with Zoe & Nick but first had the check out the finished construction in Penn Station/AM Track. Its weird how a brand new space can make you feel ‘out of this world’ , there are hints from International architecture in the new redesign, its the long overdue make over Manhattan needed.
We made our way over to the Chelsea Market, shopped around mostly trying to stay warm since it was nearly 30°F! Grabbed some craft beer and walked up to Bryant to check out the lights. It was nice to see Manhattan alive again, granted I did’nt mind the desolate streets during Covid. Although im not one for crowds there is something hopefully seeing people going on with their lives like its 2019 again.

Final Thoughts- No time is wasted time
Since I started my new job I’ve been reflecting on where I have been since 2018, overall I feel thankful and at times I can’t believe this life is my own.
New Car, New Job, and soon a New Home.
It’s a culture shock for me, to be given opportunities I’ve always dreamed of because I never thought they were real for me. Now that I have more to my name, I can enjoy moments when they spontaneously arise. Setting goals to keep pushing towards, so that I never stop learning. Thankful for everything life has taught me. When 2022 comes to an end, I look back and remember where I have been.
Let’s keep going!
Thank You for Reading!
Hope to keep journaling in 2023! Here’s to all our youth <3
